Together for a future-proof industry

At ArcelorMittal in Ghent, it was successfully demonstrated that more than 90% of the CO₂ from blast furnace gas can be captured under real-world industrial conditions. The project provides insights into the technical feasibility and potential of CO₂ capture in steel production and other energy-intensive industrial processes.
 

Wind turbines play a crucial role in the energy transition. But as more and more wind farms are built, a new challenge is emerging: what happens to the wind turbine blades when they reach the end of their service life? It was precisely this question that was at the heart of the North-C Blade project.

LBC Vlissingen has taken the next step in the development of the Green Energy Hub in the Sloehaven. The Province of Zeeland has granted a permit for the planned tank terminal for the storage of methanol, biodiesel, and ammonia. Shortly thereafter, LBC received the Koploper Award from Nederland Waterstofland during the North Sea Port Conference.
