On 16 April 2024, Smart Delta Resources took up the recommendations of a study into regional availability of waste and residual flows with the launch of the Circular/C project.

The first Circular Industry Day took place in Vlissingen on Tuesday 16 May, organized by North Sea Port and Smart Delta Resources. 

The €200 million CCU installation is the first of its kind in the European steel industry.
