Our port and industrial cluster is electric! This was clearly evident during our annual Smart Delta Resources Summit at RodeBol Events in Ghent, where we reflected on our new cross-border vision. A vision that does not start with factories and technology, but one that puts people and society at the center. Moreover, it is a vision that focuses not only on the chimney, but also on raw materials. This vision will soon be available externally.
Together with our members and a number of relevant stakeholders, we engaged in debate about the future of (fossil) carbon, the raison d'être of our industry, a nature-inclusive transition, the link with our environment, and so much more.

Thank you!

Volvo Car Gent is testing automated shunting – for more sustainable and efficient port transport

Over 660 journeys a day. To make these operations more sustainable, safer, but above all more efficient, the car manufacturer wants to test whether some of these journeys could be carried out autonomously in the future.
